We tested Earshot’s local sound generator from Codex. Here’s the repository, the exact commands, and the sound you heard.

One real test

Measured: 0.3005s
The generated effect’s peak landed 0.5 milliseconds after its requested point. Its full duration was 0.6 seconds. This is one measured output, not a promise about every sound.
What we actually ran
sfx list, sfx render and measure, locally. The pack includes our minimal isolated setup. We did not test the semantic models, MCP connection or cloud critique.
Use your ears, too
These tools help measure sound and align it to movement. Their numbers cannot tell you whether a story feels good. Listen to the encoded result and protect the voice.
