What we actually tested

Hob 0.2.1 with Gemma 4 E4B on an M4 Max Mac with 64 GB memory. One prompt, one pre-labelled synthetic CSV, no corrective follow-up. The refund and all six category totals matched the expected results.

This is one checked example, not a benchmark against ChatGPT or a test of automatic transaction categorisation. Your model, hardware and files can produce different results.

Web access was off inside Hob. The Mac was not physically disconnected; setup included a model download. This example does not verify a fully offline installation.
