CONTEXT LENS

See the room you have left.

Samples usage after completed main turns, with estimated category counts. The band appears in the terminal; /context-lens opens a breakdown pane on other supported surfaces. The browser preview uses illustrative sample values.

THE FREE MOD COLLECTION

Four ways to shape your session.

Independent, MIT-licensed plugins.
Source and a README in every download.

Visibility

Context Lens

Samples usage after completed main turns, with estimated category counts. The band appears in the terminal; /context-lens opens a breakdown pane on other supported surfaces. The browser preview uses illustrative sample values.

Workflow

Agent Deck

A launcher for available agent definitions, rather than a monitor for every remote or background agent. Starting an agent is an explicit action and can use your Claude allowance.

Presentation

Privacy Veil

Keeps environment keys visible while their values and email addresses stay masked. Reveal each value independently. Masks supported assistant message text only. User messages and tool output are outside its scope. It does not remove data from model requests, files or logs. Review what is visible before sharing your screen.

Continuity

Work Notes

You choose what to save. Notes persist locally per project through the plugin store; this is a manual notebook, not automatic memory or a promise that Claude will recall every decision.

UNDER THE HOOD

What are Claude Code mods?

JavaScript or TypeScript event handlers run inside Claude Code. They can react to a turn, change supported UI or add a command. A plugin packages the files so you can load and share them.

TAKE IT TO YOUR TERMINAL

Small setup. Real source.

BETA / v0.2.0
01

Check your version.

This beta pack requires Claude Code CLI 2.1.307 or later. Run claude --version and check the selected mod’s README for its requirements.

02

Download and look inside.

Extract the ZIP. Each folder contains the plugin manifest, hooks module and README. Mods run with your machine’s permissions; read the source before loading one.

03

Validate, then load a session.

Run these commands from the folder containing the extracted context-lens directory. For the full beta pack, open its plugins directory first. Use /context-lens in Claude Code.

# After extracting the ZIP
claude plugin validate ./context-lens
claude --plugin-dir ./context-lens
BETA

Native validation and isolated tests checked on CLI 2.1.307. Live terminal and Desktop interaction have not yet been verified. The previews above are browser demonstrations.

MAKE A MOD OF YOUR OWN

Start with the thing
that keeps interrupting you.

Describe the behavior you want. Ask Claude Code to read the API types for your installed version, build a small plugin and validate it.

Remix Context Lens

Build a Claude Code mod called context-lens. Read the generated types for my installed version first. Show context-window usage and the available category breakdown above the prompt using the session usage API. Update after requests, avoid model calls, and show unknown values honestly. Add a command to open or close the readout, keep normal prompt behavior, and validate the plugin before loading it.

BUILT AROUND ACTUAL FRICTION

What people keep asking for.

A small sample of public issue reports.
Useful signals, rather than a survey.

02 / CONTINUITY

Save that for later.

A request for notes without a model invocation shaped Work Notes: a deliberate local notebook you can return to.

Persistent notes #95348
03 / HONEST SCOPE

Which agents can I actually see?

Reports about agent visibility set a useful boundary. Agent Deck launches available definitions; it doesn’t promise a view of every remote agent.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL

Claude Code mods, explained.

What are Claude Code mods?

Claude Code mods are JavaScript or TypeScript event handlers that customize supported parts of Claude Code, such as its interface, commands and tool workflow. A plugin packages a mod so you can load and share it. These four independent beta plugins are published by The Other Tab, a JustADev project.

Are these Claude Code mods free?

Yes. Context Lens, Agent Deck, Privacy Veil and Work Notes are MIT-licensed and free to download with newsletter signup. Sign up on your first download to unlock all resource downloads for that browser tab’s session. Reading the guides and trying the browser previews requires no signup.

How do I install a Claude Code mod?

Use Claude Code CLI 2.1.307 or later. Download and extract a plugin ZIP, review its source and README, then run claude plugin validate ./plugin-name followed by claude --plugin-dir ./plugin-name from the containing directory. For the full pack, open its plugins directory first. Use the selected mod’s slash command to open or operate it.

Does Privacy Veil hide environment variable values?

Privacy Veil masks email addresses and .env-style assignment values displayed in assistant messages while keeping environment keys visible. You can reveal each value independently and hide it again. This is visual masking: it does not remove secrets from the model context, protect files or change your environment.

Do these mods make extra AI calls?

Context Lens, Privacy Veil and Work Notes do not start model calls. Agent Deck starts the selected agent only after you explicitly launch it; that task can use your Claude allowance. Browser previews use sample data and do not connect to Claude Code.

Are these official Anthropic plugins?

No. They are independent implementations from The Other Tab by JustADev, inspired by Anthropic’s mods demonstration and public user requests. Native validation and isolated tests passed on CLI 2.1.307; live terminal and Desktop interaction have not yet been verified. Review each README before use.
